Due to the perishable and handmade nature of our food products, we follow a strict no-return policy, subject to the conditions mentioned below.

1. Returns Policy

  • Returns are not accepted once the order has been shipped.
  • This applies to all food items sold on biharswad.com.

We do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, taste preference, or incorrect order placed by the customer.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds or replacements will be considered only in the following cases:

  • Product received in a damaged condition
  • Incorrect item delivered

Conditions:

  • The issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Clear images of the product and outer packaging must be shared.
  • Claims without proper proof will not be accepted.

Once verified, we may offer:

  • A replacement, or
  • A refund to the original payment method

Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 5–7 working days.

3. Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation by Customer:

  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
  • Once the order is dispatched, cancellation is not possible.

Order Cancellation by Bihar Swad:

We reserve the right to cancel an order due to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Payment issues
  • Incorrect pricing or listing errors
  • Suspected misuse or fraud

In such cases, the full amount paid will be refunded.

4. Non-Delivery or Failed Delivery

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Customer unavailable at the time of delivery
  • Refusal to accept the order

No refund will be issued. Re-shipping, if requested, may incur additional charges.

5. No Refund Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Delays caused by courier partners
  • Slight variations in shape, size, or color due to handmade preparation
  • Taste or personal preference
  • Orders marked as delivered by the courier
